Do you ever find that you just can’t get comfortable when you are sitting?
That can be incredibly frustrating, especially if you spend most of your day sitting, which is true for more and more people in this “convenient” modern age we live in.
While we teach children to “sit still” in school (the last thing any child’s body wants to do) we don't provide them the opportunity to learn how to do that comfortably.
To make matters worse, the furniture we sit in - from school desks to swivel chairs to car seats to squishy “luxury” armchairs and sofas - further encourages bad posture.
There’s a vicious cycle at play here:
1) We learn at a young age to suppress the aliveness of our bodies
2) Sedentary lifestyles lead to aches and pains
3) Our aching bodies spend most of their time in poorly designed seats
4) Sitting feels like a prison and it only gets worse as we age
Ugh! That’s not the future I'd want to live in!
What about you?
Learning to sit comfortably involves learning some key principles, the willingness to challenge life-long habits and then put in some practice.
It’s probably not as hard as you think.
But the benefit you get when you commit to making this change is nothing short of a massive upgrade to your overall health and vitality.
So I hope you’ll join my free 3-day challenge next week, February 3-5.
Want to learn the keys to pain-free posture in 3 days?
I look forward to sitting with you.
