Tomorrow: Finding embodied 'wholeness'
'Collective Well-Being' drop-in class, Wednesday 12/11 at 8pm EST
Collective Well-Being is an online space for embodiment and community connection.
How do you bridge the gap between your intentions and your actions?
With your body, of course!
These days, most people - including you and I - have simply "too much" going on.
Yet, the same is true for everyone else you meet.
When we get too scattered, we end up in a competition for attention because everyone feels simultaneously under-resourced and asked to give so much. To cope, we start dividing ourselves up into parts.
These are the moments we need to return to wholeness.
When we're ALL here, we can engage with sensitivity and nuance that goes out the window when we're running on fumes.
When our efforts are evenly distributed, we have more capacity to perceive the details of our circumstances and act with integrity and agency.
What it feels like is no one part of your body working harder than any other.
This leads to an incredible lightness of being any slight gesture of the hand, glance of the eyes - or even a thought - can be felt like a ripple from head to toe.
In tomorrrow night’s Collective Well-Being session, we explore an incredible somatic deep dive created by Moshe Feldenkrais known as the Bell Hand.
It has to be felt to be believed!
We’ll make direct connections between this embodied movement practice and the dynamics of cultivating well-being in their daily interactions.
We'll also compare notes together and support each other to be able to fully show up - for ourselves, for loved ones, and whoever else me meet, both for work and for play.
I hope you’ll join us!
