Tonight 8pm EST: Do you remember how to play?
'Collective Well-Being' drop-in class, Wednesday 12/18 at 8pm EST
Do you know how to play?
When I say "how", what I mean is - do you know how to drop being so serious at the drop of a hat and reorient your away from problems and concepts towards:
sensation
discovery
participation &
fun?
If you think you have "too many important things to do" to make time for something so "unimportant" as "having fun," I wonder:
How does your body feel when you think that thought?
And how familiar is that feeling?
I’ll admit that this has actually been one of my own biggest challenges over the years.
I definitely know how to act like a kid, but that part about doing it "at the drop of a hat" hasn't always been my strong suit. If I told you I'm "working on it", you'd definitely be within your rights to make fun of me for that.
Hmm, I wonder if I could laugh at myself*** if you did? 🤔
***Being able to laugh at yourself is a superpower. It feels something like the opposite of shame.
Anyways, we won't be "working" on anything in tonight's 8pm EST Collective Well-Being get-together - we'll just be playing and having fun!
That doesn't mean that we won't be finding more ease in our bodies from head to toe - but especially in our heads, necks and shoulders!
And when we connect in dialogue, we'll explore where we feel playful in our lives and where we don't - and how we might shift that balance in a way that supports more well-being for us and everyone else we are connected to.
Want to join us for a playdate tonight at 8pm EST?
See you in the sandbox.
